Daya Mata - Mother of Compassion

Sri "Daya Mata" the sanskrit word for “Mother of Compassion”. She was one of the foremost disciples of Paramahansa Yogananda. With all the earnest Love for God she heart fully chose Spiritual Path under the guidance of Sri Paramahansa Yogananda at the age of 16 and became the one of the best disciple of his Guru and led the YSS and SRF world wide organizations with all love and spirituality and left this physical body at the ripe age of 96 to merge into that Divine Consciousness. 


She is a  born Yogi or Saint. Physically she may be no more, but her inspiring spiritual book "Only Love" is an eternal guidance book for all spiritual aspirants/ truth seekers. Irrespective of whatever spiritual path they chose it is a must read book for all. In my view every member of our family has to read it and I am sure they will not dis appointed.

Bhagvan Sri Krishna explained in Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga (of Bhagvat Gita) the basic qualities of human beings (Satva, Rajo, Tamas) and the need for moving from Tamas to Rajas and then from Rajas to Satva to get progress in Spiritual path. Satvic people mind becomes very subtle and understands the subtle secrets of Spiritual books and they surrender to Guru or God or Divine Power and transcend Satva too to get Realization (realizing they are eternal beings of Sat-Chit-Anand). As she was born with a purpose of spreading the spiritual path secrets, she revealed easy to follow simple and practical methods or tips in her book " Only Love". It is a treasure for all truth seekers.


Satvic people will have tears in their eyes while reading some of the paragraphs. This book is available from all YSS or Self Realization Fellowship centers and book shops.
